Art/Speaks Program Expands to Include Theater

Write On, Door County’s Art/Speaks program is expanding through a collaboration with Third Avenue PlayWorks (TAP) to bring together the worlds of theater and writing.

Art/Speaks is a free community lab in which participants write in response to other art forms. These sessions are typically held in Door County art galleries, but Write On is also working with Midsummer’s Music to facilitate poetry in response to music. In addition, following the first Sunday-matinee performance of each show during TAP’s 2023 season, audience members will be invited to write a story, vignette, poem or other piece about the play.
