Artful Tables at Woodwalk

Art not only adorns walls, it also inspires. Taking that cue, Woodwalk Gallery invited a number of local home décor retailers to be inspired and create “artful tables” with a table setting/centerpiece created with inspiration from a specific piece of artwork.

Maxwell’s House, Door County Nature Works, Crickets, Bliss, and Vintique all participated in this fall exhibit. Each table tells a different story from cocktails to accent décor and dinner. The exhibit will run for just two weeks, closing Oct. 8.

Overlapping The Artful Table exhibit is the last primary gallery exhibit The Eye of Nature featuring Tom Linden, Tracy Anderson and Richard Bell Smith. Each artist has a different view on nature. For the first time, Woodwalk will hold a Friday night reception, Sept. 29, 4:30 – 7 pm, with refreshments, hors d’oeuvres and music by local favorites Lynn and Dave.
