Artist and Subject

Spencer Champeau acts as both subject and artist as he applies a mixture of paper maché and plaster to his body. The finished sculpture – which is reminiscent of the work of artist George Segal, who is known for his life-like plaster sculptures displayed in everyday situations – was on display in the Guenzel Gallery as part of the 100 Years of Art exhibit.
