Artist Demos Start Season at Fine Line

Fine Line Designs Gallery’s first exhibit of the 2018 season premieres May 25. The gallery celebrates Exhibit I with an artist reception on May 26, 4-7 pm, with an artist demonstration set for May 27, 11 am to 2 pm.

The gallery’s first exhibit features oil painter Dean Bradshaw, fiber artist Martha Fieber, mixed media artist Paul Klein, and acrylic painter Richard Patt. Fieber and Klein will be featured at Sunday’s artist demonstration.

Bradshaw seeks to achieve an abstract quality to his plein air work, using brushes and palette knives to turn his views into compelling landscapes.

Calling her work “landscapes in thread,” Fieber relies on layer upon layer of hand-stitching, subtle color, and intricate details to create her complex compositions.

Mixed media artist Klein creates sculptural lighting with nature serving as a primary inspiration.

Patt creates scenes of sturdy barns and sweeping fields with a striking, energetic balance between representation and abstraction.

Exhibit I runs through July 2, with the second exhibit of the 2018 season set to begin July 5. For more information visit finelinedesignsgallery.com.
