Artist Under Glas

Door County artist Tim Nyberg loves to paint – and he loves a great cup of coffee. That’s why he’s delighted to be chosen to hang some of his colorful, often whimsical paintings at the Grand Opening of Sturgeon Bay’s Glas Coffeehouse. “Glas,” meaning green in Irish Gaelic, gives a hint concerning Tim’s selection of paintings for the month-long show. A 30-year veteran commercial artist and illustrator, Tim enjoys mixing his acrylics with humor and music to come up with delightfully fresh images that are perfect for the contemporary home or office.

The Glas grand opening will take place from April 19th to the 25th with Tim’s paintings on display through May 14th. Don’t miss this opportunity to become acquainted with Glas. It’s a friendly, spacious place with plenty of room to sit and chat, listen to their occasional evening music offerings, eat a light lunch and have experience some of the best barista-crafted coffee north of Milwaukee. Their daily “happy hour” features lattés and cappucino’s for just $2!

If you head west over Sturgeon Bay’s new bridge, you will run right into Glas (they’re in the new Cellcom building). More information about the Glas grand opening events may be found online at GlasCoffee.com. Tim Nyberg is represented in Door County at Gallery Forty Two in Juddville (online at GalleryFortyTwo.com).
