Artists Announced for TAP Art Auction

The Third Avenue Playhouse (TAP) will hold its annual fundraising gala Aug. 13, 6-9 pm at the Door County Fire Company, 30 S. Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay. The catered event features entertainment by the cast of TAP’s current production of Shinbone Alley.  

A highlight of the annual gala is an art auction of pieces donated by a select group of Door County artists curated by Jeremy Popelka of Popelka Trenchard Glass Gallery. Currently, the artists include: John Bocchino, Brian Pier, Archelle “Buttons” Wolst, Linda Sheard, Liz Butler, Bonnie Hartmann, Dan Collins, Nancy Aten, Ric Furrer, Lynn Gilchrist, Mac Schueppert, Deb Stroh-Larson and Stephanie Trenchard. Some of the auction items are displayed in the TAP lobby during the run of Shinbone Alley.
