Artists Bring One-Of-A-Kind Pieces to Plum Bottom

Meet three artists working in different media on Sept. 26, 12 – 5 pm, at Plum Bottom Pottery & Gallery. Silversmith Amanda DeWitt, stained glass artist Josephine Geiger, and wood turner Ed Brogan will be on hand to show their newest collections.

DeWitt will show her latest fall jewelry line and will be at the gallery discussing her work from 12 – 3 pm. A perennial Door County favorite, Dewitt’s newest collection does not disappoint with fresh designs and a classic feel.

Geiger will also be on hand and will show her newest stained glass art. Her newest collection features work inspired by nature and its ever-changing array of colors. She will discuss her process for creating one-of-a-kind stained glass.

Brogan will show his beautiful and functional handcrafted wood bowls. He has developed a secret technique of layering different woods in the shape of a crescent into his pieces. The results are his beautiful and unique Crescent Bowls.

Plum Bottom, open daily 10 am – 5 pm through October, is located 15 minutes north of Sturgeon Bay or five minutes south of Egg Harbor at 4999 Plum Bottom Road. Click here for more information.
