Artists Guild Announces New Classes and Sessions

Master artist Craig Blietz returns to teach a new session of “Considerations in Drawing the Human Figure,” from April 9 – 30 at Artists Guild. This class is open to all artists who wish to advance their figure drawing skills by drawing from an unclothed model. Blietz instructs the four, consecutive Tuesday classes from 6 – 9 pm. The cost is $260 and includes four Wednesday nights (April 10 – May 1, 6:15 – 8:15 pm) of self-guided drawing from a model at “Life Drawing Guild.” Early registration is encouraged due to limited class size.

A new session called Open Studio is scheduled for April 7 and 14 from 11:30 am – 3:30 pm. For $10 per day or $18 for both days, participants bring their own materials and work on their own projects. A comfortable, well-lit studio setting is provided along with easels, tables and chairs. Early registration is recommended.

High school and college students pay $8 a night, with prior approval.
