Arts, Crafts & Plants at Settlement Farm Market Plant Sale

Mark your calendar for May 28 to attend the Settlement Farm Market Plant Sale from 9:30 am – 1:30 pm. The annual plant sale (and more) features locally grown annuals, perennials, hanging baskets, tomato plants, seedlings, trees, shrubs and bushes, and also local art and nature crafts for the home.

Salzsieder Nursery will offer an abundance of Door County bushes and trees for landscaping needs. Pat’s Patch features organically grown vegetables, early spring salad mix, asparagus and lots of interesting tomato plants. Sully’s Produce will bring beautiful hanging baskets, potted herbs and annuals and brightly colored flowers to plant. They also bring delicious homemade breads and jams. New to the market is Cold Climate Farms featuring herb and vegetable seedlings, seasonal veggies and flowers. Freshly made lavender and lemon beauty products all made by Door County Lavender and Lemon will be on hand. Nature crafts include pressed flowers and baskets by John Leiberg and Door County nature photography by Dennis Walz.

The Settlement Farmers Market is located at 9116 Hwy. 42, just one mile south of downtown Fish Creek (slow down when you see the Sweetie Pies sign). The Wednesday weekly market will begin June 8 and run all through the growing season until Oct. 19. The farm markets are canceled if stormy. For more information call 920.868.3788.
