Artzy Studio Hosts Ceramic Demos

Starting July 24 – 29, artist Cynthia L. Koshalek will be doing ceramic demonstrations on how to make a chocolate bowl at her Ephraim studio. The demonstrations will take place in the butterfly garden from 1 – 4 pm Thursday – Monday. The second annual demonstration coincides with DC Specialty Food’s Chocolate Fest.

“I really enjoy coordinating an event like this,” said Koshalek. “The Chocolate Fest inspires me to design an entire set of pottery just for this event. There are all kinds of ceramic bowls and trays that are great for serving and displaying chocolate. I try to design really unique shapes for this amazing event. It’s a real challenge to come up with something new every year.”

Artzy Studio, located at 10329 Highway 42 in Ephraim, is open 10:30 am to 4:30 pm Thursday through Monday.
