UPDATE: This year’s summer season at Door Shakespeare has been canceled. See updated information here.
Like thousands of other arts organizations across the country, Door Shakespeare is doing its best to navigate the challenges it faces and is considering scenarios to address them. As of now, the summer 2020 season will continue.
Performance dates for Wittenberg and Hamlet have not changed (July 1 – Aug. 17). The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged) [revised], however, will now run July 27 – Aug. 24. Tickets to the 2020 season are fully refundable, with no exchange fees. All performances will take place outdoors.
Keeping in mind the health and well-being of those in Door County, Door Shakespeare will gather in early May to make a determination about how best to move forward with its 25th-anniversary season.
