Assemblage Workshop at Door County’s Alchemy Fields

Alchemy is the power or process of transforming the common into the precious, which the public will have the chance to do at Alchemy Fields on August 20. From 10 am – 4 pm, Teresa Ann Gifford of DePere’s Assemblage Studio will host a Barn Theatre Assemblage Workshop.

Participants will create theatres out of a basic wood box, adding curtains, stage props, characters, collage papers, vintage images and found objects. The scene will be directed by a chicken paper doll roosted on the roof of the barn.

Alchemy Fields is located at 9533 Highway 57 in Baileys Harbor. Participants are asked to bring a sack lunch and any objects they would like to personalize their creation with.
