Attendance Keeps Growing for Olde Ellison Bay Days

The 49th Olde Ellison Bay Days festival once again enjoyed growing attendance from those outside of Door County as well as out of state. Winners of this year’s OEBD Grande Raffle are indicative of this trend. First prize was won by Roger Pasch of Eden Prairie, Minn.; second prize was won by Don Bangert of Waupaca; third prize was won by Kim Schimmer of Sister Bay; fourth prize was won by Keith Westphal of Appleton; fifth prize was won by Mike Wilhelm of Hastings, Minn.; and sixth prize was won by Jan Holmes of Appleton.

“We’re extremely excited about next year,” said Jennifer Lee, Ellison Bay Service Club president. “As always, it will be held on the last full weekend of June − next year concurrently with the 150th anniversary of the settlement of the hamlet of Ellison Bay by Johan Brendt Eliason in 1866.”
