Audition for “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play”

The Depot Performing Arts Center will celebrate its second Christmas with the production of It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, adapted by Joe Landry from the screenplay by Frances Goodrich, Albert Hackett, Frank Capra and Jo Swerling. This beloved American holiday classic will come to life as a live 1940s radio broadcast. With the help of an ensemble that brings a few dozen characters to the stage, the story of idealistic George Bailey unfolds as he considers ending his life one fateful Christmas Eve.

Adults and children of all ages are encouraged to audition. Being set in a radio station requires several actors and sound technicians to assist with this production. Many roles are needed.

Auditions will be held at The Depot PAC, 341 N. 3rd Ave., Saturday, Nov. 22, 1 – 3 pm and Monday, Nov. 24, 4:30 – 6:30 pm. Shows will be held the weekends of Dec. 12 and 19. For information contact Rogue Theater at 920.818.0816 or email [email protected].
