Auditions for Lyons’ “Ma’s Case…Ehn So?” at TAP

Carol Lyons will hold auditions for her production of Ma’s Case: All the World’s a Stage, ehn, so? on Sunday, February 10 from noon – 3 pm at Third Avenue Playhouse, 239 N. Third Avenue in Sturgeon Bay.

Parts are available for four women and one man in this comedy whodunit. Playwright and director Lyons is looking for Ma, age 40+, and notes that the actor must be able to master a Southern Door Belgian accent and have good comedic timing. Lyons is also casting the parts of Amanda, age 20 – 30; Angelica Typple, age 25 – 60; Aurora LaVista, age 25 – 50; and Boyce, age 25 – 40.

The ages are guidelines according to Lyons who encourages all interested actors to audition.

Auditions will consist of script readings with members of the cast and a short interview with the director.

Lyons stresses that “the willingness to have fun is more important than experience.”
