Lives in:  Neenah, Wis.
Current Position: Education Reporter, Post-Crescent Media in Appleton, Wis. for two years. Before that I covered education at the Watertown Daily Times in Watertown, Wis.
I grew up in West Jacksonport with a crazy bunch of cousins – the Bleys, Sawyers and Lautenbachs. I graduated from Sevastopol High School and UW-Madison. During summers in college I worked at Wilson’s Restaurant & Ice Cream Parlor, and helped my family harvest cherries.

I believe everyone’s Door County bucket list should include sitting in the bathtub at Bley’s Bar, picking your own cherries and watching the sunset in Egg Harbor.

“The Pulse was the first real newspaper I worked for, and I learned so much. Everyone at the Pulse is invested in the paper – their enthusiasm and work ethic were contagious. I also enjoyed covering the community I grew up in. I still read the paper online.”
