Dancin’ On The Door is offering a fun and exciting modern contemporary dance workshop for teens and adults on Sept. 3, 5 – 6:30 pm. The workshop will be led by Autumn Dobbeck.
Dobbeck is a student at Elgin Community College in Illinois. She is currently working on her associate’s degree in Education. She began taking ballet classes in third grade and hasn’t stopped since. Autumn later took jazz, modern and contemporary which expanded her dance horizons. She has a love for choreography and is constantly trying out new things.
This workshop will be of the modern/contemporary style with some jazz influences. Participants will learn a contemporary combination and have a chance to express themselves through movement. The cost is $20 per person.
Dancin’ On the Door’s Third Annual Youth Dance Season is open for registration; the season offers classes for all ages and levels of ability in ballet, tap, jazz, modern contemporary and pointe. Classes begin the week of Sept. 12.
