Babysitter Training Registration Open

Do you want to become an American Red Cross–trained babysitter? United Way of Door County, in partnership with the Women’s Fund of Door County, is coordinating a babysitter training session June 3, 8:30 am – 4 pm, for anyone aged 11 and older, at the Sturgeon Bay Moravian Church, 323 S. 5th Ave. in Sturgeon Bay.

American Red Cross trainers will teach babysitters about infant and toddler care, emergency response, child safety, age-appropriate activities, responses to a variety of behaviors and the basics of starting a babysitting business. 

The cost of $20 includes the training and lunch. Scholarships are available; inquire when registering. Space is limited.
