Baeb Will Vie With Skare To Challenge Bies

Christopher Baeb of Luxemburg has announced he will run as a Democrat to represent the 1st Assembly District in Madison. Baeb is one of two democrats – Richard Skare of Fish Creek is the other – who will battle for the right to take on four-term republican representative Garey Bies of Sister Bay.

Baeb has worked at Proctor and Gamble Paper Mill since 1997 and is active in union activities there.

A 1989 graduate of Luxemburg-Casco High School, Baeb is married to Debra Norton, with whom he has two young children. Baeb said in an email to the Pulse that both he and his wife are active members of the Kewaunee County Democratic Party.

“I’m campaigning on the working man, common sense approach to government and restoring the middle class for Wisconsin,” Baeb said. “I’ll represent my district by being more approachable, affable and more responsive than my opponent.”
