Bailey Rikkola on WBCA D5 All-State Team

Sevastopol senior Bailey Rikkola has been named to the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 5 Girls Basketball All-State Team.

Rikkola, a 5-6 guard, led the Pioneers’ girls basketball team team that this season won the Packerland Conference title with a 16-0 league record and also earned a regional championship for the first time since 1985 to advance to the sectional semifinals, where Sevastopol finished with a 25-2 overall record, the most wins in school history. 

The daughter of Pioneers head coach Ben Rikkola averaged 16.4 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and 4.4 steals per game this season and also made 48 3-pointers. 

She finished her high school basketball career with 1,291 points, 452 rebounds, 267 assists and 317 steals.

Sevastopol tallied a 43-10 record in her final two seasons.
