Baileys Harbor Comprehensive Plan Gets More Study Time

Town chair Don Sitte asked the town board to delay a presentation on the new comprehensive plan until a future board meeting.

He said during the town’s March 13 board meeting that members should spend some extra time studying the document compiled by the town’s plan commission during the past two years. Sitte also emphasized that the presentation should take place when all board members, including plan commission representative Peter Jacobs, can attend.

The board had not set a date for that meeting as of March 13. It will have a special meeting March 30, with likely topics to include bids for dredging inside and outside the town marina and the replacement of a few deteriorated sections of old iron wastewater pipes.
