Bailey’s Harbor Fireworks

I love fireworks! When I was a kid, I would buy whatever fireworks that my parents would let me and some that they wouldn’t. This year I was asked if I wanted to get behind the scenes and photograph the Bailey’s Harbor fireworks. “Heck Yeah!”

Ground Zero Pyrotechnics is a group of guys from New Orleans who have been coming up to Bailey’s for 15 years now to put on the fireworks show. This is a great group of guys! They volunteer their time to come up and give us a grand show on the fourth.

It was something else to be right there where they were all going off and exploding directly overhead. When the first hand lit shell went off, I could feel the shock wave from the canon, What Fun!
