Baileys Harbor Hosts Fourth of July Celebrations

Baileys Harbor is a top spot for Fourth of July fun in Door County.

Start out the day at the Baileys Harbor Fire Department’s Pancake Breakfast from 7:30 to 10 am on July 4. Local firemen will serve breakfast at this annual fundraiser that helps support the volunteer fire department.

The parade starts at 10 am. This year’s parade theme is “The Wild Side,” highlighting all the fun outdoor activities to do in Baileys Harbor. The parade route is staying the same this year, starting at The Ridges Sanctuary and running south to Summit Rd. Bluff Road will be closed to all traffic and there will be a police officer monitoring this. Only the trolley will be able to access it until the parade is over.

The Baileys Harbor Rec Park will have two trolleys running from 8 am to 4 pm, dropping people off downtown. Guests are encouraged to use this free service instead of trying to park downtown. There will be no trolley from the corner of County EE/F.
