Baileys Harbor Photographer at International Exhibit

Baileys Harbor resident Steven Stanger was recently given the People’s Choice Award for his image “Light From Above” at the Lens 2015 International Juried Photography Exhibit at the Perspective Fine Art Photography Gallery in Evanston, Illinois. The exhibit runs from March 5 – 29. All juried entries can be viewed at perspectivegallery.org.

Steve’s images have been juried locally into the Miller Art Museum in Sturgeon Bay, the Hardy Gallery in Ephraim, and the Guenzel Gallery at the Peninsula School of Art. He has also received first and third place awards at the Door County Art League Annual Member’s Showcases as well as second place in the 2014 Hal Prize issue of the Peninsula Pulse. His images received nominations in the 2014 and 2015 Black & White Spider Awards with one receiving third place in the abstract/amateur category in 2015 as well appearing in juried exhibits in Kansas and Virginia.
