Ballet Hispánico Shares Latinx Culture with Students at DCA

On Oct. 20, America’s largest Latinx cultural organization, Ballet Hispánico, performed on the Door Community Auditorium (DCA) main stage. That afternoon, its members also performed a matinee for Door County students. The organization strives to “bring communities together to celebrate and explore Latinx cultures through innovative dance productions, transformative dance training and community engagement.”
Eduardo Vilaro, artistic director and CEO of Ballet Hispánico, narrated segments of the performance for the students, and afterward, the dancers introduced themselves and engaged with the students during a Q&A.
