Balthazar’s Feast Benefits Door Shakespeare

Lovers of chamber music will enjoy Door Shakespeare’s annual gala, “Balthazar’s Feast,” a luxurious evening of food and music at Woodwalk Gallery in Egg Harbor on Sunday, August 15, from 6 – 9 pm.

“Balthazar’s Feast” will highlight music by Peninsula Music Festival musicians Max Huls (violin), Linda Minke (cello), and their son, Victor (flute, recorder, mandolin, and cello). These nationally renowned performers will play a variety of English and Italian Renaissance-era chamber music.

The gala will feature a buffet of summer savories and salads by Door County Private Chef, as well as desserts by CheeseCake Etc. Guests will have the chance to bid on items in a silent auction featuring a vibrant variety of artwork, ceramics, and jewelry.

Woodwalk Gallery is located at 6746 County Road G, 5 miles south of downtown Egg Harbor.

Tickets to “Balthazar’s Feast” cost $50 per person and can be reserved by calling the Door Shakespeare office at 920.839.1500. Because space is limited, interested guests are encouraged to reserve their tickets as soon as possible.

Door Shakespeare’s is currently performing Much Ado About Nothing on Mondays, Thursday, and Saturdays, and The Rivals on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Performances will run through August 22. All shows are at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $23 for adults, $16 for students, and $6 for children, and can be purchased at the door or reserved in advance.
