Barbara Foley Tours Door County for Book Signings

Door County lovers everywhere will be enchanted with The Door to a Man’s Heart, the true story of two teenagers, Warren Rogers and Betty Yule, who have a summer romance while camping with their families in Peninsula State Park during the Great Depression, and the pact that keeps them together for over sixty years.

On Friday, July 4 from 11 am – 1 pm, meet the co-author, Barbara Foley, at a book signing event at the Cupola House Shops in Egg Harbor. Then, on Tuesday, July 8 from 7:30 – 8:45 pm at the Bethany Lutheran Church on Moravia Street in Ephraim, Foley will share a slide show presentation for the Ephraim Historical Society, featuring many historic photographs of Door County dating back to the early 1900s. Take a nostalgic look at camp life in the early days of the park and hear the story of a family who has camped in Peninsula State Park for nearly a century!
