Barn Dance Jan. 19 at the Kress

The Door County Folk Alliance will host a barn dance on Jan. 19, 7-9 pm, at the Kress Pavilion in Egg Harbor. Mike Grimm will call the dance. No experience is needed, and if you don’t have a partner, you may be in luck: there are usually others looking for dance partners. The callers will teach all the dances. Children who wish to dance should be old enough to follow directions or dance as a unit with a parent — this helps keep everyone safely on their feet and having fun. The barn dance is free, but a $5 per person donation is appreciated to help cover the cost of callers and the facility rental. For more information, visit dcfolk.com.
