Base Camp and Ecology Sports Hosts “Katie Dahl Day”

On Sunday, Oct. 24, come in from the cold for a morning of hot cider, warm sweaters, and cool music as Ecology Sports/Base Camp Coffee Shop celebrates its second annual Katie Dahl Day.

From 9 am to noon, Ecology Sports and Base Camp will offer special deals on coffee, food, clothing, and gifts, as Door County folksinger Katie Dahl serenades shoppers with a morning of acoustic folk music, occasionally slipping behind the counter to make a pumpkin latte or maple steamer. At 11 am, Katie “The Human Jukebox” Dahl will be joined by fellow singer and Base Camp barista Jess Holland.

Ecology Sports, located in the old Liberty Grove Town Hall on Highway 42 in northern Sister Bay, offers a wide selection of high-quality clothing, boots, and outdoor accessories. Base Camp Coffee Shop, located in the building’s lower level, serves coffee, tea, espresso drinks, food, and homemade baked goods. On the Oct. 24 both Ecology Sports and Base Camp will offer a variety of discounts on food, clothing, and gifts, including Dahl’s CD, County Line.

There is no cover charge for Katie Dahl Day.
