Baseball Playoffs Turned Upside Down

The top two seeds in the Door County Baseball Tournament playoffs lost in the first round Sunday, setting up a championship game between Kolberg and West Jacksonport for Sunday, Aug. 23, 1:30 pm, in Baileys Harbor. 

Kolberg beat top-seeded Egg Harbor 6-2 behind pitcher Trevor Reinhardt’s 12 strikeouts. West Jacksonport stunned Sister Bay, winning 6-4 on a 12th-inning grand slam by Derek Niedzwiecki.
