Bastille Day Celebration at Base Camp

In honor of the upcoming French celebration of Bastille Day in mid-July, Base Camp Coffee Bar at 10904 Highway 42 in Sister Bay will host two events beginning on Friday, July 11.

Illinois folk musician Jess Holland will join local musicians Nick Steingart and Kalen Keir of The Nicks from 7 – 8:30 pm on Friday night. Refreshments with a French accent will be available. A $5 donation is suggested.

Then on Sunday, July 13, Ellison Bay pastel artist Kay McKinley Arneson will be creating a plein air painting at the garden entrance to Base Camp beginning at 3 pm.
