Bat Expert, Live Bats at Pen Park Aug. 13

Join DNR bat expert Jennifer Redell on Aug. 13 at the Peninsula State Park Nature Center. From 7:30 – 8:15 pm, Redell will share the reasons why Peninsula State Park bats have decreased in number by 75 percent, and what scientists are doing about it. Live fruit bats will also be on stage at the event. The bat program is free and open to the public, but a state park vehicle sticker is required.
