Beach of the Week: Fish Creek Beach

Fish Creek’s designated swimming beach is a summer hotspot and a great place to swim, watch the boats, eat a carryout lunch or take in the sunset. Its location within the central part of downtown Fish Creek means you’re close to everything and can easily walk to shops, restaurants and lodging.

The large, grassy area is ideal for sunbathing and picnicking, and you’ll find shady areas as well.

The Fish Creek Beach was updated and expanded last year with an expanded shoreline, new bathrooms, and redesigned short-term parking for easy loading and unloading. Unfortunately, high water levels have eaten away at most of the sand beach.
