Bedrock Bluegrass Hosting an Open Jam on March 18

Bedrock Bluegrass Band will host a Bluegrass Open Acoustic Music Jam at Peninsula Pub on March 18, 1-3 pm. Musicians of all levels are invited to play bluegrass, country, folk or a bit of Irish music.

The jam will be in a song circle format. So, when it’s your turn, you can pass or announce the name of the song and key you will play in. Song selections should be in good taste and basic in nature. The song leader starts and sings the verse. Others are welcome to join in to sing on the chorus. The song leader for March 18 has prepared “Whiskey in the Jar.” Leading a song is not mandatory to jam with the group.

Visiting with old friends is great, but there’s only a short time to play. Come early or stay late to catch up with friends. Peninsula Pub is located at 7899 Cty A, at the intersection of County A & E in Baileys Harbor.
