The Belgian Heritage Center will hold a Belgian waffle breakfast on June 26, 9 am – 1 pm, at 1255 County Road DK in Brussels (the former St. Mary of the Snows Church in Namur). The breakfast will include waffles, eggs, potatoes, beverage and Marchant’s Belgian trippe.
The cost is $9 for adults, $5 for children and free for children three and under. Proceeds from this event will help support the Belgian Heritage Center and its mission of preserving and promoting the unique culture, history and architecture of this area.
There will be someone available at the breakfast to scan historic photographs from the Belgian community. Digital copies of these photographs will become part of the Belgian Heritage Center’s collection and may be used for the center’s displays as well as genealogical and historical research.
