Belgian Heritage Center Receives Recovery Grant

The Belgian Heritage Center has received a Wisconsin Humanities Recovery Grant that’s funded in part by funds from the National Endowment for the Humanities and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021.

The Belgian Heritage Center, 1255 Cty DK in Brussels, is located in the Namur National Landmark Historic District on the former St. Mary of the Snows campus. The former church, built in 1893, is home to exhibits, oral-history videos, a photo kiosk and a shop. The center and school/convent building are open Friday – Sunday, 10 am – 4 pm, May – October. The Chapel of St. Roch is open at all times, as is the tradition with Belgian roadside chapels. Private and group tours are available.
