Bell Ringers Still Needed for Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army’s annual kettle campaign is currently underway at several Door County retailers. The campaign is supported by many compassionate volunteers from our community, including representatives of Altrusa International of Door County. Members signed up to take 10 slots and ring during two days at Econo Foods in Sturgeon Bay.

Funds raised during the Door County kettle campaign are used locally for critical situations involving rent, food, transportation and utilities.

Some ringers will play an instrument, dress in uniform or costume, sing, or bring children and pets. The campaign runs through Christmas Eve and many two-hour slots at five Sturgeon Bay locations and one Egg Harbor site are available for volunteers.
