Benefit Concert for Gibraltar Historical Association

Folk music group the 5 Milers will be appearing at the historic Gibraltar Town Hall on Saturday, June 13 at 7 pm. Tickets are $10/person, with all proceeds to benefit the Gibraltar Historical Association’s Education Center. The concert is in conjunction with Fish Creek’s 2009 Heritage Days.

The 5 Milers step out with a show that is high-powered from beginning to end. They play the best-known and loved folk songs of earlier days, including great pop songs of the ‘60s. The evening will feature the classic music of the Kingston Trio, Peter, Paul, and Mary, Limelighters, We 5, the New Christy Minstrels, John Denver and many more folk music favorites.

The band gets together only a few weekends each year. This year, one of their reunion spots is historic Fish Creek! Band members are spread throughout the United States.

Seating for the concert is limited, and interested concertgoers are urged to come early. The doors to the Town Hall will open at 6:15 pm.
