Berkner, the Queen of Kids’ Music, at DCA

On Aug. 13, 3 pm, Door Community Auditorium (DCA) will present “kindie rock” artist, Laurie Berkner. A bestselling and award-winning children’s musician, Berkner has been a longtime fixture on TV’s Nick Jr., Sprout and NBCUniversal Kids channels. 

Coined “the queen of kids’ music” by People magazine, Berkner is the inspiration and the power behind a movement known as “kindie rock” – kids’ music that is smart rather than saccharine – making Berkner’s music as popular with kids as it is with the grown-ups who love them.
