Bike & Pedestrian Planning Meetings Coming Up

The Wisconsin Bike Fed is working with Door County to produce the Door County Bicycle, Pedestrian & Recreational Facilities Plan, and citizens will get their first of three opportunities to gather information and share incite on May 22 and 23.

Identical meetings will be held on successive nights in Northern Door and Southern Door to reduce travel times. The first meetings are May 22, 6:30 – 8 pm at the Gibraltar Community Center, 4097 Highway 42, Fish Creek and Wednesday, May 23, 6:30 – 8 pm at the Nasewaupee Town Hall, 3388 County PD, Sturgeon Bay.

The meetings will be an open house format with a brief presentation at 7 pm. The meetings will focus on introducing participants to the planning process and soliciting local knowledge of cycling and walking issues in Door County.
