Bike to Benefit Program Launched

The 24th annual Ride for Nature on June 16 has introduced the Bike to Benefit program, a way for participants to raise additional funds for The Ridges Sanctuary. Funds raised through Bike to Benefit will support the restoration of the Baileys Harbor Range Lights, a rapidly disappearing kind of lighthouse and two of the only surviving range lights in Wisconsin.

All cyclists participating are eligible to participate. After raising at least $250 in sponsorships, participants will receive a Ride for Nature jersey. The top three fundraisers in the Bike to Benefit program will receive bike racks from Saris.

To help launch the Bike to Benefit program, the Cordon Family Foundation has agreed to match, dollar for dollar, up to $1,000 in sponsorships.
