Bill Bastian Memorial Bike Ride August 1

If you’re looking for something to do between the usual Door County activities, join the Northern Door Children’s Center on Saturday, August 1 for the third-annual Bill Bastian Memorial Benefit Bike Ride.

Enjoy a change of scenery with a non-competitive group bicycle ride over the roads and trails of Peninsula State Park and the Town of Gibraltar. Registration for the event is at 8 am at Nor-Door Sport & Cyclery in Fish Creek. The ride itself is planned for 9 am to 1 pm.

Lunch will be served from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm for all participants, with a raffle drawing to follow. This year’s prizes include a new adult TREK bicycle, a $100 gift certificate to Nor-Door Sports, a gift certificate for two adult half-day coastal kayaking adventures from Bay Shore Outdoor Store, and a backpack from Ecology Sports. One raffle ticket will be issued to each adult entrant, with additional tickets available for $5 each.
