Birch Creek Ambassadors Return to UUF

The Birch Creek Ambassadors return to the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship (UUF) on July 26 at 7 pm. The cabaret-style concert will feature complimentary refreshments and exceptional jazz throughout the evening.

The Ambassadors group was formed in 1999 to serve as Birch Creek’s goodwill ambassadors, acquainting residents and visitors with Birch Creek’s mission and programs, as well as bringing jazz to numerous venues throughout the county.

These young musicians are also offered the opportunity to experience the life of a professional musician, thus fulfilling Birch Creek’s mission, through these concerts. Their repertoire consists of jazz standards, and the group is generally comprised of a saxophone, trumpet, trombone, piano, bass, drums, and guitar player.

Director José Encarnacion will join the young musicians. A native of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Encarnacion currently is a faculty member at the Lawrence Conservatory of Music.

Admission is $10 for the general public and free for students.

The UUF is located at 10341 Highway 42 in Ephraim. For more information visit http://www.uufdc.org or call 920.854.7559.
