Birch Creek Music Performance Center has added three new members to its 19-member board of trustees: David Long, Patti Vickman and Steve Kane.
Long joined the Birch Creek board for the third time, effective as of October. Born and raised in Door County, Long returned to the Little Harbor area after a 40-year career with the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Vickman is also rejoining the board of trustees. A chair of the Door County Medical Center Board of Trustees and a board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters and United Way, Vickman has over 45 years of experience in education.
Another returning board member, Kane has contributed to organizations like the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and the Oakland Zoo, where he served as board chair and oversaw major expansions and fundraising efforts.
The three outgoing board members, who each served Birch Creek over the past three years, are Diane Tallion, who served on the Development Committee; Bill Hensge, who was the President of the Associates Volunteers; and Sam Carmen, who was the Development Chairperson and on Birch Creek’s Executive Committee.
