Birch Creek Gala & Auction

Birch Creek’s Board of Trustees is hosting a special fundraiser from 6 pm to 8 pm on July 27 to benefit the organization’s General Scholarship Fund. Executive Director Alan Kopischke and his wife Kنrin are opening their home for the gala, which will include heavy hors d’oeuvres, desserts and beverages.

The main event is a live auction with items such as a 2015 private gig by the Ambassadors, a 2015 Steel Pan lesson with Liam Teague, a private conducting lesson with Ricardo Casteٌeda and conducting a march in a 2015 Symphony concert, a seat on stage for a 2015 Jazz concert, a reserved parking space for the 2015 season and more.

The festivities will include music by Birch Creek Jazz faculty members Jeff Campbell, Rick Haydon and Reggie Thomas.

Alan states, “Our robust scholarship program provides the Birch Creek experience to students who might not otherwise be in a position to attend a session. This fundraiser is an excellent opportunity for anyone to help a music student learn from our professional instructors.”

Tickets to the fundraiser are $100 per person and must be purchased by July 23, either online at birchcreek.org or by calling 920.868.3763. To donate an item to the live auction or to the bag raffle, contact Donna Johnson at 920.868.3763.
