Every day in May, 4:30-7:30 pm, Roots Inn and Kitchen will offer small plates and drink specials as part of its new happy hour. The eatery at 2378 Maple Dr. in Sister Bay will open for the season on April 23.

McReady’s Celebrates 10th Season

McReady Artisan Bread Company, 7836 Hwy 42 in Egg Harbor, will be baking up scratch-made breads and more when it reopens May 6 for its 10th season.

Wild Tomato’s April Donation Creation Supports Peninsula State Park

Wild Tomato is ready for spring with its April Donation Creation: an unusual pizza topped with honey-sriracha chicken, baby corn, roasted cauliflower, pineapple, shishito pepper, cilantro and Asian coleslaw. A portion of every sale of this new pizza during April will be donated to the Friends of Peninsula State Park.
