Twelve Eleven Opens
Sister Bay has a new home for wine at Twelve Eleven Wine+Provisions. The new space on Highway 57 held a soft opening last weekend is now serving six days a week. The bar and provisions shop offers selections from Twelve Eleven winery and two other California labels plus beer and cider, with artisanal cheeses, charcuterie, bread and local wares in the provisions shop. The bar and shop will be open 11 am – 9 pm Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and 11 am – 10 pm Friday and Saturday. The shop is closed Tuesdays.
Cultured Is Setting Up Shop
Looking for great sourdough? This summer, the bread bakers of Cultured Door County will be at the Jacksonport farmers market on Tuesdays, 9 am – 1 pm, and at the Fish Creek farmers market on Wednesdays, 9:30 am –1 pm. You can also order items at cultureddc.minimartapp.com for pickup on Fridays at 10580 Country Walk Shops in Sister Bay.
Celebrate All the Holidays We’ve Missed
Ephraim Historical Society members missed celebrating with everyone in 2020, so they’re making up for lost time with a July 10 summer social at The Barn, 3060 Anderson Lane in Ephraim. Alexander’s will provide the dinner. Tickets are available at ephraim.org.

French dip, spicy habanero, pizza melt – do any of those make you think of grilled cheese? Thyme Catering’s Grilled Cheese Project is redefining the gooey sandwich every Wednesday at MAX at Maxwelton Braes, 7680 Hwy 57 in Baileys Harbor. Tomato concasse, shaved roast beef and fig jam are just a few of the special ingredients that are going into the selection of six grilled-cheese sandwiches this summer.
