Parallel 44 Winery Vineyard Walks

On Feb. 27, Parallel 44 Vineyard & Winery will host a vineyard walk with owner and winemaker Steve Johnson. Tickets – available online while supplies last – include the walk and talk, wine samples at various locations throughout the vineyard, a glass of wine of your choice to enjoy by the bonfire and more.

Farmers to Families

The United Way of Door County will have food boxes available for families that need them on Friday, Feb. 26, 4 pm, at the Liberty Grove Fire Department on Mill Road in Sister Bay and at the Door County Fairgrounds in Sturgeon Bay. During the last year, USDA contractors have delivered 139,075,406 boxes containing fresh produce, meat and dairy products as part of the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program. 

Roots Preps for 2021

Roots Inn and Kitchen is creating new breakfast items for its guests as the staff prepares to open for the season in April. One particularly delicious option will be a soft scramble grilled cheese with bacon, red-pepper jelly and jalapeños.
