Spring is here, which means the Door County dining scene is hopping with activity. Here’s a snapshot of some of the latest happenings.

Hop on over to treat yourself to brunch this holiday weekend. Inn at Cedar Crossing will be serving its regular lunch menu in addition to Easter-brunch specials, including cinnamon raisin French toast with house-made cinnamon whipped cream, crab cake Benedict, classic eggs Benedict and select bakery items available for pre-order Easter pickup. Pizza Bros. will open in the former Wild Pizza Works space at One Barrel April 28.

When Wild Pizza Works announced last week that it would be permanently closing its Egg Harbor location at One Barrel Brewing Company, it left pizza lovers wondering what would step into its place. But One Barrel didn’t leave hungry guests waiting for long with the news that a new pizza establishment was coming to town. 

“One Barrel Egg Harbor is known for outstanding beer and pizza. And we aren’t messing with a good thing,” brewery staff shared April 8 on social media. 

One Barrel announced that the creators of Fat Belly in Sister Bay will be launching Pizza Bros to offer wood-fired pizza pies at the One Barrel Egg Harbor Taproom with classic, experimental and build-your-own menu options. Pizza Bros will begin its inaugural season April 28.

Joining Healthy Way’s Grab-N-Go and Build-Your-Own food options are its new delicatessen and Made-to-Order service. Just like the other options, Made-to-Order menu items feature plenty of flavor and fresh ingredients, minus fillers such as nitrates, nitrites and high-fructose corn syrup, among many others.
