Hotel Washington and Hidden Acres Host Traveling Farm Dinner

Hidden Acres Farm and Chef Ian Milosek of Hotel Washington and Studio are teaming up with Outstanding in the Field, a traveling dining experience, to host an Aug. 22 farm dinner at Hidden Acres Farm in Sister Bay.

Ice Cider Wins in International Cidercraft Awards
Island Orchard Cider brought home a silver medal for its Ice Cider following the fifth annual International Cidercraft Awards competition, which included entries from 500-plus cideries worldwide, judged by cider experts in a blind taste test.

Produced solely from the juice of pressed McIntosh apples harvested from its Washington Island orchard, Island Orchard’s Ice Cider is stored in large totes for slow cold-fermenting throughout the winter. The result is increased sugar and alcohol content for sweet dessert cider.
